What’s your name, where do you live and what do you do?

My name is Bade, I’m a Software Engineer and I live in London.

How often do you train?

I try to aim to get to the gym at least 3 times a week. 4 times on a good week.

When did you start training?

I’ve been training for about 10 years now.

Do you have any advice for someone who is starting to workout?

What helped when I started out was having a training partner ( my brother ) who was also new to training which meant we learnt different work out routines
together. My advice to people new to training would be make sure you set yourself a target of where you’d like to be let’s say within three months and make sure you focus on meeting those targets.
A lot of people go to the gym and feel intimated or look at other people and try to do what they’re doing, I recommend focussing on yourself and what you want to achieve.

How often do you privately take your shirt off and blow kisses to the mirror?

To be honest I do it without even realising… lol.

No, go on, seriously.. anyone with guns like yours has to strike a pose once or twice in front of the mirror!

In all honesty most people that train including myself will at least once a week stand in front of the mirror and flex the pecs in admiration of all that hard work although I don’t know about the blowing kisses part.

If you could get one world leader in a headlock who would it be and why?

Hmmmm, this is a tricky one as I am not massive on politics but If I am allowed to do a double head lock then I’d go for our current leaders. David Cameron in one and Nick Clegg in the other and I’d bash their heads together.
My reason for this is because I feel like a lot of their policies right now are not designed to help the common person who works hard and also has a family to take care off.

Most weight bench-pressed? (is that even worded correctly?)

Yes that is worded correctly and my heaviest bench press is 130Kg.

Any trainers, websites you would recommend for anyone wanting to work on building muscle mass?

There are quite a few websites that provide good tips and articles on building muscle mass. My favourite ones are mensfitness.co.uk and menshealth.co.uk

And if you really want to be inspired by a true body building great then watch Pumping Iron by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Any dietary tips to help with muscle mass?

I am possibly the worst person to ask about diets because I live a busy lifestyle and find it hard to meet the dietary requirements for proper muscle growth. I do eat a lot of white meat in the form of grilled chicken which is one of the best forms of protein. I supplement my diet with pure whey protein which you can pick up from any sports nutrition shop or website. I try and eat as healthy as possible including my greens – Popeye weren’t eating spinach for nothing!!
