The Best Pulled Pork in London
I work in central London and often fancy a pulled pork burger but am often disappointed with what I find. A good pulled pork burger needs to be juicy and slightly spicy for my liking! Coleslaw and pickles are also a must have!
So far I have found three places that have blown me away with how good their pulled pork burgers are, I recommend you go try them out if you are ever in London.
So without further ado here is my list of the best pulled pork in London:
Lincolns Cafe – Holborn
This personally is head and shoulders above the rest. This cafe is run by a colombian (I think!) family and they do the most amazing pulled pork wrap. They toast a wrap and add pulled pork, some coleslaw and then some home made spicy sauce which gives this wrap the most amazing flavour.. My mouth is watering just thinking about this badboy!.. I’ll upload a pic of the place and of the wrap when I have a chance.
A word of warning though.. they only serve this wrap on Thursdays! Go any other day and you’ll be disappointed, I should know!
Marks & Spencers – Covent Garden
Now this is where it all began for me! it was here that my love of pulled pork began! and although all Marks and Spencers serve pulled pork I have specifically mentioned the Covent Garden branch because the ladies behind the counter sure know how to look after their customers… I’ve had a record breaking 5 scoops from these lovely ladies (you know who you are!). If you are ever in covent garden please please please go get yourself a pulled pork burger from M&S, you won’t regret it and you will be back for more.
It’s taken me a while but I have now mastered the art of pulled pork! I un-modestly nominate my pulled pork as the best pulled pork in London! 🙂
The ingredients I use are as follows: Chilli Powder, Paprika, Cajun, Fennel Seeds, Honey, Brown Sugar, Vegetable or Chicken Stock (1 Cup) Salt & Pepper, put this al lin the slow cooker and leave on low heat for 8 hours.. Perfect!
The Lazy Cow – Warwick
Now I know I said I’d only mention the best pulled pork in London but I have to mention this little piece of heaven! I work one day a week in Warwick which is how I found this beauty! Am not sure what they put on the pulled pork but it has a very sweet taste and works beautifully with their coleslaw. They serve their burger with a side of fries and must say they taste amazing!
Right, well there you go! there are my top 3 best pulled pork burgers/wraps. I will update this page if and when I find any places in London worth mentioning. Please feel free to mention at any of these places that you heard of them through this page, it might get me a free burger the next time I visit them. Bye for now!
