How Google Ranking Works

Ever wondered how Google ranking works?

If, like me, you’ve ever wondered how Google ranking works, you’ll find the below infographic really helpful. It explains all the things that Google looks out for when deciding on who should rank higher then others.
All business owners need their service or products visible to potential customers, this is where SEO comes into play. It is important to understand how Google reads your pages and the importance of having them optimized for the words or terms you want to be found for.
Google will look at everything from the domain name, the page url, the titles, the content and the meta descriptions. If someone searches for Marble Cleaning London, for example, and you have a site with the term Marble in the domain, plus pages with titles, content and metas all with terms relating to cleaning marble, Google will decide that your site is relevant for the term. If it is a niche term and there isn’t a lot of competition, you can be sure you will rank on page one pretty soon.

Below is an easy to understand step by step infographic of how Google ranking works, I hope you find this as useful as I did! As always, please feel free to share and comment. Your feedback is much appreciated.
